What Is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is the traditional system of health from India, practised for more than five thousand years. Its name means the knowledge of life.

The Approach

Health As Balance

Ayurveda treats the whole person. It looks at food, sleep, digestion, the seasons and the mind together, and it starts from one idea: no two people are the same.

What calms one person can unsettle another. So Ayurveda begins by understanding your own nature, then uses herbs, food, oils and daily routine to bring you back into balance.

At Naturaveda, Ayurveda is the foundation, and Talia also draws on modern nutrition and other natural traditions where they serve you best.
